Figure 02

Figure 02 is the second-generation bipedal humanoid robot developed by Figure AI, launched in August 2024 as the company's primary commercial deployment platform. It stands 168 cm tall and weighs 70 kg, featuring a sleek matte-black exterior with all cabling integrated into the limbs. The robot has 35 total degrees of freedom with 16-DoF hands capable of carrying up to 25 kg, a 2.25 kWh battery providing up to 5 hours of runtime, and six RGB cameras for 360-degree visual perception. It features triple the onboard AI inference compute of Figure 01 via dual NVIDIA GPUs and runs Figure's proprietary Helix VLA model (dropped OpenAI partnership in early 2025). Figure 02 has been commercially deployed at BMW's Spartanburg plant in South Carolina performing X3 body shop chassis assembly tasks since early 2025, and achieved a walking speed of 1.2 m/s.
