Unitree Robotics, founded in 2016 and headquartered in Hangzhou, China, is a leading robotics company known for affordable quadruped and humanoid robots. The company made its name with low-cost quadruped robots before entering the humanoid market with the H1 and G1 platforms. Unitree is the mass production leader in humanoid robots, shipping over 5,500 units in 2025 alone. In 2025, the company achieved revenue of 1.708 billion RMB with net profit after deductions of 600 million RMB, making it one of the few profitable embodied intelligence companies in China. Unitree completed a Series C round of approximately 700 million RMB ($96M) in June 2025, with a post-money valuation exceeding 12 billion RMB ($1.6-1.7B). The company filed its IPO application on the SSE STAR Market in March 2026, passed the listing committee review on June 1, 2026, and submitted for registration on June 2, 2026. Unitree's humanoid lineup includes the H1 (full-size research/commercial platform at 650,000 RMB), the G1 (entry-level humanoid starting at 99,000 RMB), and the next-generation H2/H2+ co-developed with NVIDIA based on the Isaac GR00T system with 31 degrees of freedom. The company also produces quadruped robots like the Go2, B2, and B2 Pro, as well as the R1 series. Unitree has over 1,000 employees and is known for pushing price-performance boundaries, making humanoid robots accessible to university labs, startups, and developers worldwide.
